Bruce McLaren was a legendary racer, engineer, and most notably, team manager. He was one of three drivers to win a F1 race in a car of their own make. His legendary team continues to this day. Unfortunately he passed away while testing one of his race cars. His most famous quote is "To do something well is so worthwhile that to die trying to do it better cannot be foolhardy. It would be a waste of life to do nothing with one's ability, for I feel that life is measured in achievement, not in years alone." Bruce was a New Zealander through and through, in the early years of his race team an image of the New Zealand Kiwi adored his cars. This classic fit, supple t-shirt honors that heritage and the memory of Bruce and his love of racing.
